Dazey Designs started because of MY REVOLUTION...
In April 2010, my life changed drastically. I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called MTC (Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma). It was stage 3 when they found it and the prognosis was not great. I have always loved art and even spent a couple of years as an Art Resource teacher to elementary school kids. My recovery from cancer was very painful and I would find myself drawing to get my mind off of it.
One day my son asked me if we could do something with the drawings and start a small business. Together we decided to form a small online business called Dazey Designs. Our desire was to give back to cancer research in some way, but we weren't sure how to get it going.
In September 2011, I was cast on a lifestyle reality television show called "The Revolution." One day, Dr. Tiffanie Davis-Henry was at my home and she saw my drawings. She asked me what I was planning on doing with them. I told her my plan and she said, "well then you need to do it..."
Dazey Designs is a small business that I hope makes a big difference in the world. After all, don't we all go through experiences in life to learn and to give back? My son and I are planning on donating some of the proceeds of this business to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Life is short... life is a gift... go out and make a difference in the world is our motto!
Thanks for supporting Dazey Designs.
The name Dazey Designs came from our sweet puppy Daisy... She was a rescue dog who beat the odds, just like I did. There are miracles that occur every day... I am living proof and so is Daisy!
Dazey Designs supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a Partner in Hope.
